Vigiers (12 kms) has an international 18 hole golf course and there are riding stables (3 kms) and tennis courts (2 kms). At the nautical center (2 kms) yuo can hire canoes and there are numerous places with good fishing
Some of the great wines of France, as well as lesser known ones are near here and visits to the vineyards and cellars to taste are welcomed. The towns and villages have markets filled with fresh local fruits and vegetables, flowers, cheeses and farm produced patés, on different days of the week.
Bergerac, Sarlat, Saint-Emilion, Arcachon are nice places to visit. They can easily be reached by car
